Best spot for sushi!!! Great service delicious food. You can't go wrong. I love the vegetable tempura and shrimp tempura rolls because I don't eat the raw stuff but my people do!

Food is always fresh and fantastic! Even as they've expanded to more locations, they've managed to keep serving quality sushi, a testament to how well they are run. Ambiance-wise -- it's pretty basic. This location and some of their other locations keep their tables super close together and it can be pretty noisy. I love their food so much, it's well worth it, but others considering it for a special date or occasion should be aware.

Love this spot over the big Katsuya spots, it's small intimate and feels very neighborhoody. They don't take reservations. so expect to wait or get there early.

It's a terrible place to park around, or find parking for - but the food is delicious especially for any sushi lover. This is my go-to date night spot and work-meeting spot!

10/10 the best food in all of Manhattan Beach and possibly LA. This sushi spot is simply a blend of excellence but with a casual twist. The service is always amazing, it is very local and near other locations, and best of all the food is simply out of this world. (Try the crispy rice spicy tuna and you won't regret it).

Service here is very fast. We had Herbert as our server. He is very knowledgeable about the menu so it was easy to order. Food here is delicious... no complaints. Will definitely be back here!!

My boyfriend took me here for a late valentines date night as we are huge sushi fans and wanted to find a new spot. Let me tell you, we were thoroughly impressed and felt the quality of the food and service, and reasonable prices was better than a competitor across the street. We started off with edamame which was simple and great. We both got the Kirin lights which come in a larger size bottle, great for sharing but we each got our own. They then brought out our first two rolls that I believe were called the Roger roll I can't recall the other. They had spicy tuna and spicy salmon on the inside and the fix was great. The fish was fresh and the rice was soft. We were happy we ordered two more rolls. We then also got an albacore roll and spicy salmon which were once again amazing. The texture and taste of the fish was remarkable. We had a wonderful time and this is definitely top of our list now. Their prices are super reasonable and between the two of us, it was only about $70 for a dinner where we ordered more than we usually ever do. We left full and satisfied! The servers were incredibly kind and helpful and made conversation with us. The restaurant is small and packed to the brim, much like sushi joints in Japan we've been to. Make sure to make a reservation early on as we were able to walk right in but there were many people waiting in line outside! Definitely recommend for HIGH quality sushi and a great experience!!

Hands down the best and freshest raw fish I've had in a while. We sat at the sushi bar and got our sushi super quickly. The nigiri was so delicious and not too expensive for LA pricing! It's nice and small inside and has a great ambiance. We order the sautéed green beans as well which were delicious and in a tasty sauce. Definitely coming back!
